Forty-six pre-school providers in County Wexford have been allocated more than €280,000 in capital funding by the government.

The funding represents a portion of more than €6.5m in capital funding allocated by the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Katherine Zappone to 1,006 pre-school providers nationwide.

The total allocation represents an increase of more than €2.5m on the amount previously announced for this programme earlier this year.
