This service allows childcare providers and companies/people who may service the childcare industry to display childcare or jobs they are marketing and allows users of the site to search for and/or access details of childcare facilities and childcare jobs that are available. If you create an account with us we store your email address and your chosen password. Your password is not stored as free text but a hashed version for security purposes. If you create an advert or listing with us we will store all the information that you enter on the advert to enable us to display it on our website. This includes but is not limited to your business address, phone number and email details. Finally, we may also collect information from any correspondence that you have with us.

The information that you complete on the ‘Send an Enquiry’ forms on the site is recorded by us and is sent to the advertiser that you wish to contact. This helps the advertiser provide you with a more personalised service.

Email a Friend
When you use the ‘Send To Friend’ feature of the site we record which adverts or listings you have sent to the friend, solely so that we can track the popularity of those adverts or listings . We record the other details provided in the email for internal monitoring of the service. We will not add any information collected in this manner to our mailing lists to protect you and the recipient’s privacy.

Registering with us
You do not need to register with us to visit our site. If you do register with us, we save the details you provide and use them to enable us to personalise the service we offer to you. How to close your account

If you wish to close your account, please email hello@childcarefinder.ie from the email address you used to register your account.

Closing your account means we will remove all your childcare adverts and childcare jobs from our website. We will also remove your email address and password that you used to access your account. We will also remove any email subscriptions or notifications you may receive by means of newsletter and offers.

The details we keep:

Messages that you received from people who contacted you directly from the contact form on your listing on the website during your time advertising on the website.

This can take up to 40 days.

Once your account is closed, we will send you a confirmation by email.

Once removed your account information and any adverts/listings can not be recovered.

*Account information can be stored for up to 40 days after account closure.

Intellectual property

By posting any Material on our website, you grant us a licence to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such Material whether on the Site, any other site or otherwise. The licence you grant to ChildcareFinder.ie is non-exclusive, royalty free and fully paid, sub-licensable, and worldwide. You also waive to the fullest extent permissible by law any moral rights in such Material. You are responsible for making sure that you have all rights to what you post, including the rights necessary for you to grant the licence above.

By posting any Material on the site you represent and warrant that: (i) you own the Material posted by you or otherwise have the right to grant the licence above, and (ii) the posting of the Material does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, intellectual property rights, confidentiality, contract rights or any other rights of any person or is not otherwise illegal. Childcare business owners who choose to advertise on ChildcareFinder.ie agree to the following terms and conditions:

Business owners are asked to respond promptly to all enquiries from parents and/or job applicants
The owner is wholly responsible for the accuracy of the business information posted on ChildcareFinder.ie.
ChildcareFinder.ie accepts no legal responsibility for the accuracy of information, or for any action brought against the owner for breach of contract by the person using the childcare facility. ChildcareFinder.ie shall not be liable to the owner for any loss, costs or damages resulting from the use of the site, or the inability to access or use the site.
Owners placing advertisements have a duty to ensure that all material provided complies with copyright law. ChildcareFinder.ie accepts material in good faith and cannot be held liable for any breach of copyright by owners. Owners retain the right of copyright over such materials, and grant ChildcareFinder.ie the right to use and modify such materials for the purpose of the advertisement.
ChildcareFinder.ie reserves the right to modify submitted information, to remove inappropriate material or to bring the information in line with the style of ChildcareFinder.ie.
Whilst ChildcareFinder.ie endeavors to ensure that this site is available continuously, it will not be liable if for any reason the site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
The payment made by the owner is for an advertising period of 12 months for a childcare business listing or 3 months for a childcare job listing from the date on which the advert goes live and shall terminate at the end of that 12 month (or 3 month for job posting) period unless renewed.
When you create your advert and upload photos and images to it, it is entirely your responsibility to ensure that you own the photos or the licence to use any 3rd party photographs. ChildcareFinder.ie or Invictus Technology are not responsible for the photo content on your advert.
ChildcareFinder.ie reserves the right to remove childcare listings from the site (without refund) should:
- Advertisers misrepresent their childcare business
- ChildcareFinder.ie receive complaints from customers who use the business or childcare facility.
Owners can delete their adverts from the site at any time, however no refund will be made if removed prior to the end of the advertising period.
Use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of Ireland. Any actions or proceedings arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Ireland.
By creating an account or advert with us, you are allowing us to send you childcare/parenting news, offers and free stuff by email. You can unsubscribe at any time to these offerings.
You must only list your Business Name as your registered business name and not any variation of it.
