Giraffe Childcare Stepaside

Our purpose-designed centre is located on Enniskerry Road, just up from the Lamb Doyle’s crossroads. It is situated in the heart of two large modern housing developments, both of which have a lovely family and community feel to them. It is adjacent to the M50, as exit 13 and 14 Ballinteer or Sandyford respectively, is just a short commute. It’s a wonderful spacious, bright standalone centre. It has a well equipped secure garden play area and learning through play is promoted in the great outdoors.

This centre is highly regarded by the local community and there is a warm and family-focussed approach. Giraffe Childcare Stepaside provides full time, part-time and afterschool care for busy parents in the area. ECCE which is the governments Early Childhood Care and Education Scheme is also available in this centre.

Our Cook provides delicious and nutritious freshly cooked meals that encourage your
 child to taste as many new things as possible and help introduce them to the wonderful world of food. Our kitchen uses only the freshest meat and seasonable vegetables, we don’t add any salt, artificial flavourings or colouring and all our stock is homemade. We’re happy to cater for vegetarian diets and any other dietary requirements your child may have.

Staff are Garda vetted and have a minimum qualification of Fetac Level 5 and the centre is supported by the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Childcare Committee.
