About Us

We are an Early Years service, with two centres in Churchtown and Rathfarnham. Anna Giblin is the Registered Provider; she works alongside her mum Catherine, who opened our first crèche in 1997. Anna has been the Registered Provider since 2017. Anna has a background in Psychology, a Level 6 in Montessori Education and a Masters in Early Childhood Studies; she is passionate about creating a warm, nurturing and creative environment where children, families and staff can thrive. We strive to stay at the forefront of Early Years care, guidance and regulations, and ensure that the safety of our children is paramount.

Our Care

We offer both full-time and part-time care for children aged 1 to 5 years. We have a team of ten practitioners in each creche, who are Garda vetted and have qualifications in Early Childhood Care & Education or Childcare. Our wonderful team are there to create a warm, engaging and happy environment for our children, and develop trusting relationships with our families. We offer the NCS scheme and the ECCE scheme to all children. We also offer the AIM model for children who may have an additional need, and we are an inclusive service.

We are a strength-focused and play-based service, looking at what your child can do and what they enjoy doing, helping them to grow and learn in a positive and nurturing environment. Our curriculum is devised around Aistear, the National Curriculum Framework, which gives us the tools to ensure that every aspect of your child’s development is being looked after. From toddlers learning to walk, to our preschool children getting ready for school, we tailor what they learn so that it is age-appropriate, fun and engaging. We use observations to get to know what each child enjoys doing or playing with, and then integrate this knowledge into our weekly curriculum plans.

We take care to offer our children wholesome, nutritionally balanced meals that are sourced locally. All of our meals are cooked and prepared on-site at each centre, every day. Our meat is from Wilson’s in Rathfarnham, and our fruit and vegetables are delivered from the market every week. Our menus are available and displayed at each centre; we also cater to allergies or dietary restrictions.
